THE STORY OF THANKSGIVING

Once upon a time, a group of travellers left their lands in hopes of a better life.


Thy were the noble Pilgrims, thy sailt for many days and nights in search of a new home.


Thy hath almost lost hope, their supplies running low, when ho! Land lay yonder before them!


Nary a soul found near their landing, they settled a town and t'was hailed Deviantown.


Unbeknownst to thy Pilgrims, curious eyes in the forest descendeth upon them...


Thy Pilgrims sought food toth and fro, leaving naught for thost who dwellt there.


This angered the wise natives who inhabited thy forest; thy Pilgrims destroyeth their hallowed land!


Thus, skirmishes wrought Pilgrims and Natives, with occasional strikes from thy fearless turkeys...


After many a battle lost and won, both sides had endured enough. One fateful day, Captain Silky and Chief Soaring Windaine arrangeth to meet. All bate their breath as they watch...


Ho, their surprise! Shortly after thy conversed, thy happily settleth a treaty to live peacefully.
Thy treaty reads:


"We, thy Pilgrims strong and true,
write thy treaty as is due.
Our arrival meant no harm,
we only wisht for somewhere warm.
We are sorry for what we've done,
we meant no insult to anyone.
We'll no longer take or fight,
we'll follow through with what is right.
We, thy Natives brave and bold,
accepy thy words are thy are told.
We've no qualms about your stay,
but you mistreat our lands this way!
We hold regret for all our wrongs,
and hope we please you with our songs.
Thus our treaty is written down,
and peace reign throughout Deviantown!"
